The Presidential Prompter system is the ‘classic’ prompter that’s seen in all major live events and has been used for years by politicians and presenters who are standing at a lectern. This system includes monitors placed below clear mirrors that are mounted on thin poles placed on either side of the lectern (often referred to as “Paddles”). Utilizing two “paddles” allows presenters to look straight ahead and side-to-side while they deliver their message.

The transparent mirrors allow the presenter to look directly at, and read their speech while the glass appears transparent to the audience behind. And likewise, your speaker can be seen through the glass by the audience. This format is great for highly detailed presentations where it is crucial to present the material as accurately as possible.
